Elton John meets Nymphenburg

To start off his “Greatest Hits live” tour of Germany, Sir Elton John appeared on 14 June in the Olympiahalle in Munich. Before taking to the stage, the self-confessed Nymphenburg collector met the CEO of the manufactory, Dr Jörg Richtsfeld, for his own private backstage shopping session.

Included in the Nymphenburg collection of the world-famous British star are Memento Mori and selected Animal Figures designed by various artists from over 260 years of manufactory history.

During his tour in Munich, Sir Elton John added to his exquisite Nymphenburg collection with Animal Figures by Luise Terletzki Scherf and a specimen from the limited Skull edition with butterfly motifs from the masters’ workshops of the manufactory.
