Dr Heinrich Kauper

CEO 1982 – 1996

Dr Heinrich Kauper continued the restoration of the buildings that Philipp Baron von Redwitz had commenced. In 1996, he converted the "alte Schleif", a former workshop on the manufactory's premises, into an event location. The new production of Nymphenburg's large majolica pieces and the re-issue of some art nouveau designs represent some of the fruits of his labour. As was the introduction of a dishwasher-suitable service in 1981. The most famous designs of this period are the cooper figures by Schröder-Lechner (1986), the design of the television award (Panther) by Hörl (1989) and the golf player by Gattnarzik (1996).
