    Spoons

Every advanced culture sets new standards. In fashion, in the realisation of technical achievements or in the enjoyment of culinary delights. However, it is particularly exciting to analyse stylistic features using common everyday objects. The spoon is a wonderful object of study in this context. Everyone needs one, everyone knows its value: when tasting soup, stirring fresh espresso, serving mustard. We always use it in a similar way, but its shape and decoration can differ considerably. We can see that just from looking at the Pearl Spoon compared to Ted Muehling’s Shell version.
