Admittedly, the “house tiger” – or domestic cat – does not feature among the classic Big Five. However, with the cat having become Europe’s favourite pet in recent decades, it is due to receive the recognition that it deserves. This animal torso, created from a design by Munich artist Willy Zügel, reflects the irony of this trophy collection beautifully. The last domain of this animal was Rosenau Palace, near Coburg. It will live on in our memories.
