Small, strong, black – that’s how we like our coffee. Yet long before the coveted drink was pressed into compact, colourful, iridescent capsules of flavour, connoisseurs treasured coffee in its purest form for celebrations– served in the finest handmade Nymphenburg porcelain. In 1921, Rudolf Diewock designed the renowned Golden Age decor for the two people mocha service for just this purpose. Today, it still represents the indulgent age of coffee, and the golden age of the art of porcelain.
