The intrinsic value of the porcelain’s dazzling white is its great, almost blinding appeal. It is also an ideal base for the paint, applied in the Manufactory’s master workshops. A little red on the lips, the subtle fawn brown of the hair, the flowers – every single touch of colour decorating the moon goddess Luna is painted freehand. Last but not least, the pedestal is also decorated with flowers in the Rococo style, not forgetting the Bavarian diamond shield on the front.
