The table ornaments by Franz Anton Bustelli are particularly sought after, and rightly so. The famous porcelain sculptor conceived the pose of every single figure so skilfully that they are attractive from all angles. Thus for a guest at a table, the rear perspective of this unpainted Putto with Crescent, based on one of Bustelli’s models, is no less fascinating than his facial expression. The instrument in his hand also deserves high regard. Every single bell is formed freehand in the Manufactory’s master workshops and then attached to the crescent with delicate, short sticks.
