    Bavaria

Although Nymphenburg porcelain is exported throughout the world, the production of its pieces has intentionally been confined to a single location, to Schloss Nymphenburg in Munich. To this day, traditionally Bavarian services and figures bear witness to the roots of Nymphenburg – above all BAVARIA. Ernst Andreas Rauch to whom the manufactory owes many designs in the Bavarian style also created the models for these painted applications using the Bavarian coat of arms and blue-white edging. In conjunction with the simple shape of the service, it to this day stands for the down-to-earth Bavarian lifestyle.
