White Coral

This service is the most recent creation by the American designer, Ted Muehling, for Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg. Corals have already inspired Muehling to produce vases and lanterns for the MARITIME COLLECTION range. In the purist shape of the WHITE CORAL service, he expresses the structure of coral in all its sensuality and transparency: from the texture of the coral surface, through fretwork to irregularly broken sharp-looking plate rims, Muehling presents all the facets of the natural shape in this service while emphasising the delicacy of the filigree material, porcelain.
