Fritz

It's well known that rabbits never come alone. The Lepus, to call it by its scientific name, is happiest in a group or large family. So it's easy to understand why Fritz and his brothers prefer to appear as a troop: on an Easter egg hunt in the garden, for example, at a festive brunch with friends, or as charming combo for all lovers of animal figurines.
The original form of these porcelain figurine measuring just seven centimetres was designed by Luise Terletzki-Scherf in 1931. Like all objects from the Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg, each rabbit is individually made by hand. It also features an individual floral painting in turquoise blue, violet, purple, sun yellow, ochre, orange, or green. The free-hand flower tattoos are a classic decoration that has been used in the manufactory for many decades. The monochrome flowers are now fur jewellery adorning the abdomen, back, waist, or chest of Fritz and his brothers. This makes each of these limited-edition hares a distinct, one of a kind piece.
