How intimate – Europe, Africa, Asia and America building a harmonious group. Art makes this possible. To be exact, Josef Wackerle’s design for a pavilion that he created for the German Trade Show held in Munich in 1922. The female allegories of the continents, Asia with a crown of blossoms, Europe with a small pitcher, America with a feather headdress and Africa with a water vessel originally decorated the supports of a 5 meter high open temple. Now they stand in the garden of the manufactory and seem to really enjoy themselves there!
