Description

This vase from the Lightscape series is limited to 36 pieces and individually numbered. Its shape is particularly suitable for small bouquets with short stems and elegantly showcases flower arrangements as well as individual branches.

Porcelain, delicate as paper, light and luminous at the same time, committed to an aesthetic of imperfection but crafted with absolute perfection, innovative in form and style yet breathing the spirit of 275 years of traditional craftsmanship – this is Lightscape. With this compact collection, Nymphenburg continues its series of free projects with significant contemporary artists and designers. Ruth Gurvich, originally from Argentina, created Lightscape, an edition entirely based on paper models, and thanks to its formal openness, it is universally applicable: in the kitchen, at the table, in the living room. Her designs elevate the paper-like to a principle, masterfully playing with the characteristics of the material, revealing kinks, folds, and tensions.
