With this compact collection, Nymphenburg continues its series of independent projects with leading contemporary artists and designers. Ruth Gurvich, originally from Argentina, has created an edition for Lightscape that is based entirely on paper models and, thanks to its formal openness, is universally applicable: in the kitchen, at the table, in the living room. Her designs elevate the paper element to a principle, play masterfully with the material’s unique characteristics, and reveal creases, folds and tensions.
