As the world’s last true pure manufactory, we produce our own porcelain mass. Powered by hydropower – which drives our historic grinding drums, mixing vats and turning wheels – cultural treasures are created here every day, inspiring people around the globe for centuries. Only our firing technology has been adapted to meet contemporary standards and to allow for more climate-friendly operation.

At the heart of it all, then as now, are the people who shape, cast, turn and paint the porcelain. Our artisans – with their knowledge of secret recipes, their expertise and precision – create precious objects that make everyday life extraordinary. Thanks to them, lifelike birds seem ready to take flight, and hand-painted flowers on plates and cups rival delicate bouquets in nature.
