Dr. Jörg Richtsfeld
Dr. Jörg Richtsfeld, who initially worked as an assistant at the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance after studying economics and earning his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen, steered the fortunes of Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg as CEO from 2005 to 2011. With over 15 years of experience in corporate strategy and management positions in multinational technology and media groups, Richtsfeld saw a particular challenge in managing the world's only purest manufactory. He continued a line that Porzellan Manufaktur had always pursued and invited contemporary designers such as Gustavo Lins, Clemens Weisshaar, Pae White, Christian Lacroix and Vivienne Westwood to develop new objects or decors.
