Clemens Weisshaar was born in Munich in 1977. After training as a metal worker, he studied at London's Saint Martins College of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art. After three years as Konstantin Grcic's assistant, he founded his first design office in 2000. In 2002, together with Reed Kram, he set up the Kram / Weisshaar office as a platform for their multidisciplinary activities. Based in Munich and Stockholm, he collaborates with architects and engineers on projects for spatial design, products and media. Kram/Weisshaar stands for conjoining conventional production methods with the latest technological possibilities. Titled “My Private Sky”, the duo designed a constellation ensemble of seven individually painted chargers.
