Mass Mill
Producing the right mixture of kaolin, feldspar and quartz is an art that Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg has refined over 275 years. With the demand for the highest quality and purity, the mass is still produced by hand in Nymphenburg today and not purchased ready-made as is common with other manufacturers. The production process is complex and time-consuming. It takes about three years from the preparation of the porcelain paste to its use as the final product.

Nymphenburg ist die letzte Reinstmanufaktur ihrer Art. Seit der Gründung im Jahre 1747 wird in der Manufaktur des Bayerischen Königshauses die hohe Kunst der Porzellanherstellung gepflegt. Manu factum bedeutet dort bis zum heutigen Tage: komplett von Hand gemacht in Techniken, die von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben und bewahrt werden.
