Sebastian Menschhorn

Viennese graphic and product designer Sebastian Menschhorn was born in 1971 and studied with Paolo Piva and Toshiyoki Kita at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna from 1990 to 1996. Menschhorn translates styles, forms and functions into contemporary, yet always timeless design. In his designs, the focus is less on his personal signature than on the attempt to "capture the essence of the respective commissioned product, to analyze it and to bundle it in the design." Typical of Menschhorn's work is the transfer of two-dimensional, graphic approaches to three-dimensional object designs. This is also reflected in his collection Lebensblumen, designed for Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg.
Porzellan Manufaktur nymphenburg
