This Rococo service by Franz Anton Bustelli was created during the early days of the Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg. The overflowing wealth of ideas and the beauty of that era seem to be captured in this porcelain service. Even the tiniest detail is incorporated into the rhythm of the forms in all its subtleties. This porcelain has grown far beyond its original purpose as a service. It was integral in securing a place of honour in the history of European art for the South German Rococo beyond the Bavarian borders.
