Down-to-earth Bavarian way of life
Even though Nymphenburg porcelain is exported all over the world, production deliberately takes place at a single location at Nymphenburg Palace in Munich. Traditional Bavarian tableware and figurines, especially the pattern BAVARIA, still bear witness to the roots of the manufactory. Ernst Andreas Rauch, to whom the manufactory owes numerous designs in the Bavarian style, also created the decor featuring the Bavarian coat of arms and blue-and-white trimming. Together with the simple shape of the porcelain pattern, it still stands for the down-to-earth Bavarian way of life today.
