A rabbit rarely comes alone. The Lepus, as it is called by its scientific name, feels most comfortable in a group or extended family. So Fred, Carl and his brothers are easy to understand when they prefer to appear by the dozen. During the Easter egg hunt in the garden, for example, on the table at a festive brunch with friends or as a charming addition for all animal figure lovers. Luise Terletzki-Scherf designed the original form of this seven centimetre tall porcelain figure in 1931. The flower painting is a hand-painted "tattoo" in turquoise blue, violet, purple, sun yellow, ocher, orange or green.
