British photographer Nick Knight is known for pushing both technical and creative boundaries and setting new standards in fashion photography. His work deals with issues such as racism, disability, aging, obesity and the importance of marginalised groups in society. His innovative photographs question the conventional representation of beauty and ideal images. Knight became famous in November 1993 with his cover shoot of model Linda Evangelista for British Vogue. His work is published in magazines such as Dazed and Confused, W Magazine and Another Magazine. Knight has also directed music videos such as Björk's “Pagean Poetry” or Lady Gaga's “Born This Way”.
