Konstantin Grcic
Konstantin Grcic is one of the most renowned designers in the world. After studying at the Royal College of Art in London, he founded the office Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design in Munich in 1991, and since 2018 he lives and works in Berlin. Grcic designs furniture, lighting and products for renowned design companies such as Agape, Cappelini, Magis and Flos. His formally reduced products captivate with an extraordinary combination of rigor with humor and are represented in renowned international design collections such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York or the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. For Nymphenburg, Grcic developed independent objects from seemingly incidental forms: Tins reminiscent of plaster molds, salt and pepper shakers in the form of insulators, and the "Haute Couture" tea service.
